Cherokee Purple - Do I need to say more???

Ok I will anyway, Cherokee Purple was my introduction into the Heirloom tomato culture. This tomato comes with a rich documented history rooting back to the Cherokee tribe. The story captivated my scientific intrigue and suddenly I was obsessed. I finally realized my tendency to pick the weirdest veggie in the mark is a legit extension of my natural scientific wonder, not just my taste buds making decisions for me. I'll get to the story later when they are on the market, just in case you haven't heard this historical tale already.
