Accordion Tomato

2025 First Time Tomato Variety - As you may guess the variety selection process is a winter event that I look forward to every year. This variety selected from the 2025 Baker Creek Catalogue (best XMas Present Ever) was not in the 2021 edition. But this looks like Mushroom Basket's yellow cousin, all three voters tagged it in. We ran out of Mushroom Basket see in 2025, so Accordion has big shoes to fill. It is said that the Orange Accordion was discovered as a natural mutation discovered in a patch of Pink Accordion tomato plants in Lancaster, Virgina. Keep in mind self-pollination is an acceptable and encouraged practice in every tomato growing society. This is a marvel of nature in its finest. The only thing B&B Farmstead can say at this point is, it is the first large indeterminate variety to ripen on our vines. Whereas Mushroom basked seemed to be slow to the table last year.
